The Canteen Brewhouse was established in Albuquerque in 1994 as Il Vicino Brewing Company. We served our first beer back in 1994 as Il Vicino Brewing Company.

Over 150 awards later, we are opening our second taproom.

417 Tramway Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM Canteen Brewhouse is proud to be Albuquerque’s longest-standing brewery. Over the years, we’ve earned a loyal following and won more than 150 local, national and international awards. We’ve changed our name, but we’re still the same ol’ folks with the same passion for great beer. Join us for a pint or pick up a six pack, and we think you’ll believe in beer, too.
