This is a post I never wanted to have to make.

We lost my dad, Pete, yesterday. A lot of you knew Dad personally, and a lot of you knew him from right here at Pete’s.

Pete’s was his before it was mine. He started this place years ago, and I was able to buy it from him and keep it going. I’ve always been proud of that, and having his name on the building is going to mean even more to me now.

We’ve already heard from so many people since yesterday, and it means a lot to our family.

I wanted to share his obituary and service information here because I know there are a lot of people who knew him and would want to know.

We’re going to miss you, Dad. ❤️

👨‍🍳 We need a couple PART-TIME COOKS
Mostly evenings and weekends. This would be a great job for a high school student looking to make some extra money! No experience? No problem — we can train you.

🍻 We also need a couple BARTENDERS
We’re looking for:
• Someone available nights & weekends
• Someone with daytime availability 1–2 days a week, plus some nights/weekends

We’re looking for people who are dependable, show up ready to work, and want to be part of a fun crew.

We want to address some photos and claims that have been circulating about Pete’s.

The photos being shared were taken in a portion of our basement that is not used for food storage or food preparation. They are not photos of our kitchen or any area where food is handled.

We recently had water enter that area. As soon as the issue was discovered, it was cleaned and addressed, including removing the old carpet. The affected area has been thoroughly cleaned.

Pete’s is routinely inspected by the Health Department on a quarterly basis, and we take those inspections and our responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe facility very seriously.

We aren’t going to engage in an ongoing social media dispute, but with these posts continuing to circulate, we felt it was important that our customers have the facts.

We appreciate everyone who has reached out to us directly and, as always, appreciate the continued support of Pete’s.
