This program has three aims: (1) ground attorneys in the professional-responsibility stakes of AI adoption — competence, delegation of judgment, and zealous advocacy; (2) show that the Socratic method taught in every first-year classroom is itself a form of trained metacognition directly transferable to evaluating AI output; and (3) equip attorneys with a concrete, repeatable technique — grounded in a peer-reviewed typology of AI "accuracy" — for questioning and pressure-testing the AI tools and vendors they use or are asked to approve.
