POSTPONED!🚨

We have to push the date for our Farm Fun in the Biergarten.

We apologize to our ticket holders. Please look out for a refund and an apology email with more information and our new date!

Thank you to Pure Passions Farm for allowing the date change, and to all of our supporters who have reposted our flyer and helped spread the word. We're extremely grateful for all you do!

We have an upcoming theatre performance on 8/31 (limited tickets remain), the postponed Farm Fun, and Oktoberfest this fall to look forward to! We'll be able to better execute the Farm Fun with more time to get things in order, and we'll hopefully have better weather than we've been seeing this week🤞

1st Bell Tower Brewing Co. Geist der Glocke, German Pilsner 5% 🏆

2nd Eighty-Three Brewery Crushable Sandwich Lager, Lager 4.5%
+ they even brought the pickles with them pickle👏

3rd Market Garden Brewpub Yuzu Lager, Lager - Japanese Rice 4.7%

Lager Fest was such a great time!

Northeast Ohio really has an incredible craft beer community. The lineup of Lagers on Sunday was honestly insane! We're SO happy our first beer festival back in the Biergarten was a huge success. Now we can't wait for our Oktoberfest this fall🍻

These are the beers that will be pouring at this year's Lager Fest!

Multiple beers on this list JUST won national titles at the

Akronym will have SEVEN craft beers at Lager Fest, including a BRAND NEW beer named Road Pop. We'll be tapping our Festbier for the occasion AND we'll have two of our most recent award-winners, the Front Line and Blaze.

Lock 15 will be grilling up brats and hotdogs, plus Akronym's full food menu will available to order from the Biergarten as well. We'll have providing the live American Folk music while pouring one of the BEST beer varieties there is.

We'll see you at Lager Fest, this Sunday!

We want to take a second to highlight the Front Line

Front Line is a traditional Czech Amber Lager that was first brewed on 3/16/2020, the day Akronym's taproom closed temporarily due to the pandemic. Front Line is a tribute to those who continue to work through the most difficult of times for the people they love, and strangers alike.

Earlier this year, the Front Line won SILVER at the 2026 Ohio Beer Awards in the category Red Beers. We are so proud to announce that this month, Front Line has been nationally recognized! In the category California Common Beer, Front Line won GOLD at the U.S. Open Beer Championship.

Akronym Brewing is extremely excited to bring back Lager Fest to Northeast Ohio. If you know Akronym’s Brewmaster, Shawn, you know that we have a passion for Lagers, and we do them well. Announced this month, Akronym's Frontline Czech Amber Lager won GOLD in the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship in the California Common Beer category. The Frontline also won SILVER in the beginning of the year at the 2026 Ohio Beer Awards.

So join us on Sunday, August 2, from Noon to 4PM as more than 20 Ohio craft breweries take over Akronym Brewing's outdoor Biergarten. Only one brewery will earn the title of Best Lager and take home this year's trophy!

We're bringing the farm to the city🐮

Join us on Sunday, August 16th at 3:30PM for Farm Fun! This family-friendly event in the Biergarten is one you won't want to miss. We've got TWO micro Highland cows and two goats coming from Pure Passions Farm in Kent to visit in the Biergarten!

We'll have fluffy farm animals, Lane Harper playing Bluegrass on guitar, Co****le, Giant Jenga, farm games and farm coloring! The Beer Shed will feature snacks, juice boxes, N/A's, cold beer & wine. Akronym's food menu will be available for purchase and can be ordered through the Biergarten's Beer Shed.

Purchase your tickets SOON this will sell out FAST! There are a LIMITED amount of adult and kid tickets available. Kids 2 years old or younger are free. Children must be supervised in Akronym's Biergarten AT ALL TIMES. Parents, please be advised the nearest bathroom for this event will be inside of Akronym Brewing. Akronym and the Biergarten are connected to the same city parking deck, but the Biergarten's official address is 11 S. Main Street.

The farm animals will be hanging out and making friends for an hour and a half, but the beer keeps flowing at Akronym Brewing until 7PM on Sundays!
