🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — September 11, 2026 🇺🇸

Today, 25 years later, the Sons & Daughters of Herman pause to remember a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost, the families who never got to say goodbye, and the countless lives forever changed.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help complete strangers. We remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown on one of America's darkest days.

And we remember what followed—the flags hanging from porches, strangers helping strangers, communities coming together, and a nation reminding itself that even in unimaginable tragedy, we could stand united.

25 years have passed, but we have not forgotten. We will never forget.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, the survivors who carry the memories, and all those who continue to live with the effects of September 11th.

May we continue to remember not only how America fell silent that morning, but how we stood together in the days that followed.
