Every Thursday night from 7-8:30 college students and young professionals are gathering at The Lounge Bar in downtown Akron to engage God - to see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears, wrestle in their own hearts, and then come to a conclusion, for themselves, concerning God. Many of our generation speak confidently about God, Jesus, and the Bible, but the reali
ty is most haven't even taken the time to look and wrestle with what the Bible/Jesus actually say. YOU are being challenged to wrestle with the deeper things. To not allow media or someone's ungrounded opinion to dictate your understanding of the reality of God - a reality, that if true, is the most important thing you'll ever engage with in your life. At God.Bar no one is going to tell you what to believe...but you will be challenged to see, hear, discuss, and wrestle with what the Bible/Jesus actually said. And if you want a beer, they'll be available, along with some great music from local artists!
