As of July 7 2020. Ohio has indefinitely extended the ban of mass gathering of people (10 people or more) as part of Ohio’s plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Includes:

Once again, the venue is temporary closed. Every one stay safe and healthy. I hope will see you soon.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to voice your concern with shows at East End the Venue, I hope everyone and their families have remained healthy and safe during this COVID-19 ripple effect in our community. I have put in place procedures and to help reduce the risk of potential exposure. We will follow social distance protocol that we have in Ohio; with only certain amount of people gathering in a social setting while maintaining 6 feet apart. People only use the main entrance to enter the building, once enters a color sticker will be given to you to place on your clothing, indicating that you are responsible person. It is highly suggested that you come with wearing your own masks. If not, a mask will be for sale at cost to you. As an added measure we will have hand sanitizer stations to help prevent contamination. Before come to our show ask yourself: 1) do I have a temperature (100.4 or higher 2) Do I have respiratory flu-like symptoms and /or sudden loss of taste and smell? 3) have I had close contact in the last 14 days with someone officially diagnosed with or presumed positive for COVID -19 4)have I traveled by plane or train in the last 14 days? When people come to the show, you are confirming that your answer to all four questions is NO
Any one that is currently showing symptoms or possibly been exposed to the COVID -19 should NOT come to our show. You can watch our live streaming at the day of the shows. We all look forward to better time ahead, stay safe and healthy.

I am start looking for bands that would be a good fit for Friday and Saturday shows starting on July 10. It helps if you willing find other bands that help to put the Bill Together or that have played at East End the venue before.

Time for project progress report for live stream show at the venue, working hard fixing the wi-fi issue, but, now the issue with Uray HD video encoder and no luck with their tech support online. You know there's always twists and turns. Still, I am thankful for those that find value in this project to continue support its development.

Founded and managed by James Yu in 2019 ,the space hosted a slew of musical acts, ranging from local and touring artists. It has mostly run by volunteers and also is a BYOB venue without subsidized by alcohol sales. The venue also actively engages in support community-related specific projects for the homeless population in Akron.
