Avon Road, Afton Community keeping Nelson Drivers Safe! At 6:30 PM a large tree fell across the road in front of WildManDan Brewery...WildMan, neighbors and Patrons jumped into action...warning approaching drivers while chainsaws were put into action! As it became dark, this was an extreme hazard...road cleared by 9:30 PM just as VDOT arrived. Now, all they have to do is collect and remove the debris.
