It’s going to be a beautiful day. Beef manhattans today at Jawbone. Don’t forget our salad bar if you want to eat a little lighter.

We had some special guest yesterday at Jawbone! Happy birthday Taylor. We hope you had a great day. $1 wings today along with a jumbo mixed green and pulled chicken salad. The salad is made with spring mix, red onion, shredded carrots, mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes, croutons and of course BACON. Top that with warm pulled chicken. Traditionally it comes with a house made French style dressing. It’s an old family recipe and one of the most complimented things we make. Thank you Jeannie Correll for the recipe.

Big Hanks with a twist today at Jawbone. Philly cheesesteak loaded baked potatoes(I don’t have a photo yet). A just under 1lb potato loaded with butter bacon and sour cream piled high with beef tri tip, nacho cheese and peppers and onion! Or get it with pulled pork or chicken. You name it. $1 wings all week too. We got ham salad too.

Crispy buffalo chicken sandwiches today at Jawbone. Get it with jalapeño or without or with our house made ranch dressing. You will notice the difference.

Coneys with a twist today Jawbone. Instead of using plain all beef hotdogs we have cheddar or jalapeno cheddar smoked sausages.

Happy National Hamburger Day. I don’t know what happened but ever since we opened Jawbone I’ve been obsessed with trying other restaurants burgers and comparing them to Jawbone’s. I’m pretty proud of the burgers our people send out. So day is burgers your way. You name it we make it.

Well it’s here, Memorial Day. The official start of summer. I have a new good friend who is retired army and yesterday we had a discussion about today. He asked why do we say Happy Memorial Day? (He has lost friends in combat in Iraq). It made me think. It really should be a somber kind of day as we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our country. Also those who served and continue to serve everyday. Take a few minutes today and remember our heros. Jawbone will be closed today.

We’re back open today, open but sore! Pulled pork or chicken grilled cheese today. We start with Texas toast and add two slices of cheese and then pile it high with pulled pork or chicken. Two meat bbq sampler platters tomorrow with Mac and cheese and baked beans.

We had to go old school and break out the old charcoal smoker. We are catering for 3000 people tomorrow(Thursday) and the restaurant will be closed that day. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. We will be reopen Friday.
