This weekend we hosted a Brick Painting Party with and this group of ladies absolutely brought their creativity.

Between the paint, the laughs, the light bites, and the drinks, everyone turned a simple brick into something uniquely their own.

One of my favorite parts? Seeing people enjoy Peacock in a completely different way. Not every event has to be a concert or a crazy night out. Sometimes it’s just good people, good conversation, and a chance to create something.

Summer may be a little slower around town, but we’ve got plans.

More events. More experiences. More reasons to get out of the house and connect with your community right here in Abilene.

We’re just getting started.

We were trusted with another private celebration of life this afternoon. 💐

To give us time to restock and reset for all of our evening guests, Peacock will reopen tonight, Saturday, May 30th, at 8pm.

If you’ve been telling yourself you’re gonna make it out for The Smoking Crab, consider this your sign.

They’re back at Peacock this weekend from 11:30 AM–7:30 PM (or until sold out), and then they’ll be heading off to focus on some exciting new ventures for a while. That means this is your last chance to get your fix before they’re gone.

I may be a little biased because they’ve been feeding me, but the fried fish is ridiculous. The crab legs are worth the mess. The potatoes don’t miss. And me eating the lemon pepper corn? Embarrassing. 😳 😅😅😅

Come grab lunch. Come grab dinner. Come get messy.

Still trying to come down from the high that was
Patio Pulse.

What started as a passion project turned into one of the wildest, loudest, happiest nights we’ve ever had at Peacock — and that only happens because of people willing to show up and believe in something a little different for Abilene.

Huge love to , , our bartenders, door guys, setup crew, behind-the-scenes chaos coordinator, and every single person who hit the patio, danced under the lights, and helped turn Peacock into a full-on nightlife experience for a few hours.

Thank you for trusting us with your weekends.

Thank you for helping us create moments like this.

And thank you for helping make this one of the best nights Peacock’s ever had.

🚨 QUICK CLARIFICATION ABOUT KIDS AT PATIO PULSE 🚨

Hey y’all! We’ve had a few folks ask about the “family-friendly” wording on the flyer, so let’s clear it up real quick:

From 3PM–6:30PM, the music and atmosphere will be a little more toned down — clean mixes, chill vibes, nothing wild on the speakers. If you want to bring the family by early for food trucks, kandi making, patio hangs, and a fun afternoon vibe, absolutely.

BUT…

This is still an EDM patio party at a bar. 🦚✨

So while we’re keeping the early portion approachable and welcoming, this is not necessarily a kid-centered or kid-forward event. As the evening rolls on, the energy turns up right along with the music. 💫🎶

After 9pm, 21+ only.

Hope that helps clear things up — and we’re still ridiculously excited for this one. Abilene doesn’t get many nights like this. Let’s make it a good one. 🦚 ✨
