🎉 50 YEARS & 62 YEARS YOUNG! 🎉

Our 50th Anniversary celebration and Jeff’s 62nd birthday went off like a true blast from the past! 🍻🎂

Here’s a photo dump from an epic celebration we will never forget. The night was filled with laughter, stories, old memories, new memories, friends, family, and the friends who have become family over the years. ❤️

We pulled out photo albums filled with memories from the last 50 years of Kuni ownership, and looking back at all the people, celebrations, good times, and unforgettable moments that have happened inside these walls was pretty incredible.

The food was AMAZING, the company was even better, and we can’t thank everyone enough who helped make this celebration possible. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate with us and helped us add another memory to 50 years’ worth of them.

This place has always been more than four walls and a bar. It’s the people who have walked through the doors, pulled up a stool, shared a drink, celebrated the good times, supported each other through the hard ones, and kept coming back year after year.

There will never be another bar quite like this one — the place so many of us are lucky enough to call home. 🍻❤️

Here’s to 50 years of Kuni ownership, Jeff turning 62, and all the memories still waiting to be made!

Our ATM has officially decided to take the holiday weekend off. 🤦‍♀️😂

Unfortunately, it is DOWN and needs to be repaired, and because of the holiday weekend, we can’t get anyone out here to fix it until Tuesday.

🍻 If you’re coming out for our event Monday, PLEASE BRING CASH WITH YOU! 🍻

We don’t want anyone showing up ready for a good time only to realize the ATM isn’t cooperating.

For 50 years, John’s River Lodge has been a place for good times, great friends, cold drinks, unforgettable stories and more memories than we could ever count.

And now it’s time to celebrate. ❤️

This Labor Day, we’re not only celebrating 50 YEARS of John’s River Lodge — we’re also celebrating an epic 62nd birthday for the man himself, JEFF KUNI! 🎂🤘

This bar we call home wouldn’t be here today without all the years of hard work, dedication and love that Jeff and his family have poured into it — and it certainly wouldn’t be the same without all of YOU who have walked through these doors over the years.

Whether you’ve been coming here for decades or you’ve only recently found your way to us, you’re part of the story.
