In the morning of Tuesday 28th April 2021 at 1:00am we lost the great imposing grass thatched structure at Palm Heights Hotel in Ruti Mbarara City South. Fire started from the dining and in less than an hour, everything was gone.

Apart from the structure, we lost 4 freezers, 3 TV screens, 10 dining tables and 40 chairs. 8 sofa sets, dozen plates, cups and many others

We thank all the people and friends who joined us, that we managed to keep the fire from spreading to the kitchen.

The gardens are still available to host weddings and parties together with accommodation.
