Roaring Kalu Waterfalls and other four natural gems in India worth exploring! With Connect Safari Africa Limited / “I’m from Tanzania and one of the things I love most about it is just how much variety exists within one country.
You’ve got glaciers, deserts, dense rainforest, and coastline, sometimes just a few hundred kilometers apart from each other.
- If I had to recommend a few places, I’d start with Kashmir, the landscapes there feel almost otherworldly, especially from the air.
- Then Kerala, with its backwaters and greenery that give you a totally different, more tropical energy.
- Maharashtra has this incredible mix of coastline, forts, and hill country. Kalu, the amazing waterfall where I captured this footage, is just one of its gems.
- And of course, Karnataka, especially around the Western Ghats. It has some of the densest, most untouched forest landscapes in the country.
Each of these places offers not just unique terrain, but a completely distinct culture, food, and way of life.
That combination (nature plus culture) is really what keeps pulling me back to travel again and again.
Once I began traveling, I fell in love with capturing moments and landscapes I’d never really noticed before, and once I picked up a drone, that love went to a whole new level.
