This November 16th &17th (Saturday and Sunday) ape’ will be hosting a beef noodle pop up event

The chef behind the recipes is Jerry!

Here’s a quick intro from him:

I learned to make beef noodles from my dad. He loved cooking it, and I loved eating it, so I grew up learning how to make it myself.

This pop-up at APE isn’t about trying to make the best beef noodles in town or outdo the famous places. It’s just that I know this flavor is something special—at least, I haven’t found it in any beef noodle shop I’ve tried in Taiwan, and I’ve tried almost 100 places.

So, if you’re a fan of beef noodles, come check us out this weekend!

Beef Noodles (White Soup): beef bone broth, dried scallops, beef brisket, cilantro, minced garlic, aged ginger, candied date.

Beef Noodles (Red Soup): beef bone broth, chicken broth, beef brisket, scallions, sweet bean paste, sweet wheat paste, tomatoes, oyster sauce.

As it was announced at ape’s 3 year anniversary: we are changing locations in the beginning of October.
September 29th ape’ will have it’s last opening at Xiamen Street location, and we’ll host a music event alongside

As for our new spot:
Ape’ as it looks right now was more than a year process of big and little changes until we found “our” look, for the new place we will bring bring furniture, and decoration but we don’t have plans for renovations right away. We would like to pick up from where we left and keep working and by the end of this year we will decide on where to go with our interior design

《9月29日》是ape’在廈門街的最後一場活動,跟樓上的覓暘咖啡MIYA CAFE舉辦音樂活動!
而從10月的……某天後,歡迎來新的地點找“吃喝玩樂”。敬請期待!

ape’現在的風格經過了一年多的大大小小的變化過程,直到現在,我們終於覺得找到了“自己”的style。我們會把原來的家具跟裝飾搬過去新的地點,沒有立即要裝潢的計劃,希望可以在新的地點直接接起來提供服務。到了今年年底,我們會再考慮室內設計走向何方!

Due to the typhoon-day (today, July 24th)
Tomorrow’s menu will be slightly reduced, and it might be a bit more focused on certain dishes with easier and shorter preparation (possibly piadinas, pasta, duck and pork), but will only know for sure after the groceries
It wasn’t a big typhoon but stay safe, and maybe see you tomorrow =]
