• Ve beklenen “Nostalji Gecesi” Yaklaşıyor! 🙌🏻 Beyoğlu Line sahnesinden geçmiş, söylediği şarkılarla bizleri kendimizden geçirmiş, sahnenin tozunu belkide ilk defa orada koklamış bir çok ünlü ve başarılı sanatçının aynı sahnede olacağı, bizleri şarkılarla zamanda yolculuğa çıkartacağı bu özel gecede siz de bizimle olmak zaman makinasında buluşmak ister misiniz? 🚀

A little while ago, Kevin challenged me to participate in Andrew’s - a challenge where we create a drink for the city the challenger is from. In Kevin’s case: San Francisco! Lucky for me, that made the choice very simple. 😊
🗿TRADER VIC’S GROG🗿
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz fresh pineapple juice
1 oz homemade passion fruit syrup
2 oz dark Jamaican rum
1 dash Angostura bitters
1/4 oz cinnamon syrup
Shake everything with ice and serve over fresh ice ❄️ (I used crushed 🔨). Garnish with pineapple, 🍍 dehydrated lemon 🍋 and a cinnamon peg leg. 🦵
This is a simple tiki drink 🏝 but nonetheless delicious! 🤤 The choice of drink was easy as I love tiki and who other than the legendary Trader himself 👴🏻 was born right there in SF! (note: carefully chosen approved name for the place - I wouldn’t want to be in bad books 😅)
The original drink is garnished with mint 🍃 and does not include cinnamon. I added the cinnamon because it pairs well with the other ingredients and, well, I love the stuff! 💕 It also gave me the opportunity to add a cinnamon “peg leg” garnish. Trader Vic lost his leg at a young age and used to drive a knife 🔪 into his wooden prosthetic to amuse his guests, while telling them tall stories about how he lost his leg due to a shark bite! 🦈
It was super fun creating this drink, and I’m challenging and to make a drink for my home town. I’ll make it easier though- you can choose either Amsterdam, the Netherlands 🇳🇱 or Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺- how’s that for choice 😆

Pineapple Blueberry Mojito (for 2!)
1/2 cup pineapple, finely chopped
club soda on top
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
8 blueberries
2 oz mint simple syrup
4 oz white rum
4 mint leaves
Instructions
Add pineapple chunks, blueberries, mint syrup and mint leaves into two highball glasses.
Muddle until pineapple chunks, blueberries and mint are broken down.
Add in crushed ice, lime juice and rum.
Top with club soda.
Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint leaves.

Some nights, the cocktail I make is a moment's whim--something entirely unplanned that comes together in a few short minutes after I scan the liquor cabinet and see what jumps out. This is one of those nights, and heavens, is this delicious. The title comes from two of the ingredients having " #1" in their names.⁣
