It's been a while, so tomorrow, Saturday, is Big BEEF Burger day at The White Rose Tavern. Perhaps an hour or 3 fishing, hopefully landing a few big fish, cold drinks on the bank of the pond, big burgers and chat about the one that got away. Contribute to food, bring your own beers, enjoy new friends at The White Rose.

Our White Rose Saturday get together continues over Christmas and the New Year. Join us for friendly chat with fellow expats and locals alike. Our fishing pond bank has had a big clean up creating good water access where some big fish are waiting to give you the thrill of a lifetime. Fishing is free but the big fish are not for the table. Join us for a chat and relaxing day. We allow people to bring in their own food and drink. All we ask for is a tip at the end of the day to cover our overheads. Beverages are also available from the bar. Meet new people and start to create new friends. Large gardens well away from the main roads makes The White Rose a nice relaxing choice for a very different Saturday afternoon.

Several happy friends at the White Rose Tavern had crispy cup shrimp cocktail, Thai fishcakes, pork dumplings and unbelievably good beef steak this weekend. And today we catch big fish.

As we approach Songkran the weather is warming up and what better way than to chill out and spend Saturday afternoon and evening with old and new friends. The White Rose Tavern will be giving a free Chang or Leo to anyone who lands a fish over 5kg. Weighing station is set. Also on Saturday there is always some food from contributing friends. Fish pie and pork BBQ ribs will be on offer. The BBQ is free to use if you want to cook food. Bring along whatever you fancy.

The cold spell seems gone so BBQ season it is at The White Rose Tavern. Bring food to put on the BBQ, already we have quite a few different items. Join in the conversation and enjoy your Saturday. From 4.00pm till late.

Our Saturday get together for 18th of January already has 2 food donations to the group. We will have the now famous Fish Pie which will include the traditional boiled egg filling as well as Cod, local white fish and shell fish and a very first Apple and Cranberry Crumble. You are invited to join us. Bring along a contribution, we can warm it, cook it, whatever is required. We have a large BBQ, electric ovens, gas hobs, microwave for all your needs. There is a selection of local beers available but you are welcome to bring your own. The premises are licensed but there are no waiting staff. If you know anyone who wants a Saturday bar job then come along.

Well it's Saturday again and here at The White Rose Tavern we shall be enjoying our usual Saturday get together. The pond is accessible for fishing, the BBQ is free to use if you want to bring in food, there will be offerings of food to try. Come and join us friends old and new.
