This might just be one of the most underrated dishes on our menu… Our Kinoko No Kamameshi, Japanese rice hotpot with mushrooms and vegetables, is comfort food at its absolute finest.

It’s one of those dishes that works perfectly in the middle of the table for everyone to dig into. It's simple, yet packed with flavour and somehow still flying under the radar at Charm.

Just a little heads up from us here at Charm... even though we’re technically in low season right now, the past few weeks have still been super busy in the evenings.

Of course, we absolutely accept walk-ins whenever we have space, but if you’ve got your heart set on dinner with us, we really do recommend booking ahead where possible to avoid disappointment, especially for larger groups 💚

Renata manages all bookings personally and will get back to every message as quickly as she can. To reserve your table, just send us a DM on Instagram or Facebook with:

This dish deserves way more attention than it gets… 👀

Our morning glory topped with crispy pork belly is salty, garlicky, spicy and seriously addictive. Stir-fried morning glory topped with that perfectly crispy pork belly that adds the dream crunch to every bite... absolute chef kiss, if we do say so ourselves🤌

Best enjoyed with an ice-cold drink of your choosing. This is most definitely a sign to order it next time you’re at Charm 🔥

We saw this cute little “mini me” trend floating around Instagram, and the second we found this brilliant photo from our guest… we just knew we had to make our own Mini Renata 💙

For those who don’t know, Renata is the heart behind Charm. The woman who somehow manages to greet guests, run a restaurant, chat to every table, organise the chaos behind the scenes, hype up the team, AND still somehow find time to hand out cheeky shots and talk about your holiday plans.

MasterChef UK contestant. Mum of 3. Queen of chocolate fondants. Hostess with the mostest. Just genuinely one of life’s good eggs.

Charm exists because of her vision, her energy and her love for bringing people together over really good food. And if you’ve ever dined with us, chances are she’s stopped by your table for a chat at some point. We hope you love Mini Renata as much as we do because honestly… she’s iconic.

"Do not miss this local Charm!"

"I had heard about Renata‘s Charm restaurant on Samui when doing some research before my trip from the USA. We were fortunate to be able to walk in and get a table. It attracts English clientele, given that Renata was on MasterChef UK several years ago reaping huge success from her chocolate fondant recipe. You should not miss this dessert.

From the menu, I recommend picking from the house specials for your main courses. These have all been created by Renata and her kitchen staff. We had the beef and chilli dish and an incredible seafood curry served in a coconut.

The staff was very gracious, and we even got to chat with Renata and find out some of her life story. An additional bonus, is that her restaurant is located in Fisherman’s Village so it’s nice to wander around after dinner." - Susan [May 2026 • TripAdvisor]
