Hi everyone
Just letting you know we're about to close for our annual hiatus when our staff take a much needed holiday and we get busy carrying out regular maintenance.
We wish you all well and look forward to seeing you back again at the best chill out bar in Phi Phi. We will close from Monday, September 1 and reopen for high season on Monday, October 13.
See you then!

Hi everyone, just letting you know that Sunflower is now closed for our annual staff holidays and maintenance period, and will reopen next month.
It's the only time our wonderful staff get to take a much-needed break - and I get to handle the property maintenance without disturbing our customers and guests!

Well hi there strangers!!! Long time no speak!!!
I've got some great news....Sunflower Bar & Restaurant finally reopened last week!!!
After being closed for almost 3 years due to the pandemic, and everything needing maintenance or replacement or fixing.... it took four trips from Australia over 9 months, lots of hours work from a huge team of friends, staff, family and extra helpers to get Sunflower back up and running.
As many of our handmade tables and chairs were destroyed or eaten by termites while we were closed, we've added a heap more hammocks (out in the garden too), and stacks of big comfy beanbags, mattress and cushions to the mix.
We're also opening earlier at 9am so you can swing by for breakie and closing a little earlier (but not before 9pm).
Our menu is a bit different too as our chef Dum is too unwell to work ... but we have our delicious toasties, burgers, baguettes, and a new range of Sunflower snacks and tapas. Be sure to try our sweet potato fries, tempura veggies, gyoza, potato fritters, fish cakes and of course our own secret recipe spring rolls.... just to name a few.
We're also offering breakie sets with real French pressed coffee and gourmet teas (I know, right! Bit posh for Sunflower lol).
But one thing that hasn't changed is the Sunflower vibe. We've still got out awesome playlist, the chill out vibe, our delicious cocktails, shakes and cold beers.... and even the pool table which has been rebuilt to live yet another life.... not to mention the beautiful Kay and Khan running the bar and Waew's daughter On has joined us in the kitchen.
So come on down and eat, drink, play pool, lie in a hammock, relax in beanbag, play games, watch the sunset etc. And have a Mojo or two!
