This week, Purple Disco Machine, one of the hottest international German DJs and producers in the House & Disco scene, is a guest on the Ibiza World Club Tour Radioshow. Tino Piontek, better known as "Purple Disco Machine", won one of the coveted trophies at the 2023 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles with his remix of Lizzo's "About Damn Time". The Grammy has so far been the culmination of his meteoric rise. His stage name Purple Disco Machine is so ingrained in his identity, it's a deliberate homage to his funk hero Prince and the dance flair of Gloria Estefan's Miami Sound Machine. Purple Disco Machine developed his musical identity in the clubs of East Germany, where he discovered his passion for disco and house. Since then, he's grown into an all-encompassing radio and streaming king. A fitting title for an artist with over 1 billion streams, his discography includes hits like 'Hypnotized', 'Fireworks', 'Dopamine', 'In The Dark' and 'Substitution', which have seen him topping the European airplay charts scored. Beyond radio, he has established himself as a club favorite among DJs around the world as the second best beatport artist of all time with dance floor fillers such as "Body Funk", "Dished (Male Stripper)", "Playbox" and "Devil In Me feat Duane Harden & Joe Killing-ton”. The Dresden DJ and producer is the man with the mustache who is trusted by the stars: Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Elton John, Kylie Minogue: he has created his remixes for the really big stars. The globally acclaimed DJ and producer has demonstrated his passion for the intimacy of the dance floor, playing more than 80 shows in Europe, the United States and South America in 2022, including festival appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ushuaïa Ibiza.
