Thailand Prepares Royal Cremation Ceremony for Princess Bajrakitiyabha
The Thai government is preparing a grand royal cremation ceremony for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, honoring her with the highest royal dignity and inviting the public to take part in paying their respects.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul chaired the first meeting of the organizing committee at Government House, where key preparations were approved, including:
● Construction of the royal crematorium and its accompanying structures
● Restoration of the royal chariots, palanquins, and ceremonial equipment
● A public sandalwood flower offering ceremony, open to citizens nationwide
● A ceremony to receive the royal cremation fire
● Traditional performances
● Public exhibitions
● Commemorative pins marking the occasion
The Prime Minister emphasized that all committees and agencies involved are working with dedication to ensure the ceremony proceeds smoothly and with the utmost dignity befitting her royal status.
