Dear Customers,
An update of the latest "COVID Sucks" plans.
Its getting very close to AFL and NRL Grand Finals, and I have had a few ask me if we could somehow have a few people get together (read on).
The EPL is back up and running and Saturday and Sunday evenings are packed with live games.
Some of you are getting your vaccines and starting to head back to the office, and so lunches and late afternoons/early evenings have seen a few more pop by to say hello.
Unfortunately we still can't provide alcohol, and the key chefs are still upcountry so the full menu is not yet available.
So for now we cannot really host you in-house even though our service ladies have been vaccinated already.
It appears that from October 1st, you will need to prove you have been vaccinated prior to entry. We are not yet clear on how this will operate. This leaves us very uncertain as to what services we can provide in-person and to whom.
So what are we doing?
1. We have take-away breakfasts and lunches sold at the front of the shop Monday to Friday 7am until around 6pm.
2. You can call (02 661 7176) to order from the menu and you can collect, or we can arrange a delivery for you (note - we do not use the app services because we do not charge more than 30% profit margin).
3. We are planning on making Bradmans a take-away only venue for the next period of time. We will update the menu accordingly.
4. We are monitoring events with a view to re-hiring (vaccinated) staff, some renovating, and re-opening as soon as we can.
While we do that, here are two other things that may interest you ...
Riverfall Wines. Bradman's are the only agent for Riverfall Wines. We cannot serve you in house, and since you are spending many nights at home, why not enjoy some of our range of Australian and South African Wines that we can sell to you anytime? You ring and come collect. The Merlot is excellent value at 600 baht per bottle. Ask about the range and prices - quality to value ratio is better than most others.
OGOGO. The OGOGO App and Business is up and running despite COVIDs failed attempts to stifle it! OGOGO is a marketing platform that provides "Gamble Free Marketing" (just to make that crystal clear - you don't pay anything unless you get new customers or extra loyalty from existing customers) for SME's of all types all around the world. Bradman's and many other places that are re-opening already provide OGOGO Members between 10 and 20% discounts on all their products and services. OGOGO is looking for a range of employees (currently operating from home or the 2nd floor of Bradman's) including Accounting, IT, Marketing and more. We are also looking for new Vendors that would like to join and be listed on OGOGO. If you are looking for a job or new business opportunity or know a Vendor that could benefit by "Gamble Free Marketing" please contact me asap.

It sucks that we cannot provide you Bradmans famous food, sport and banter. Getting COVID sucks more for some people (and yes we have had family die, and others we know were sick for months) but for most it is mild and will pass quickly, so the lockdowns and economic problems caused by the COVID response don't seem fair and also suck! Lets hope it is finally over soon. Watching the AFL Grand Final or Liverpool with just a few people on the 2nd floor is fun (hint hint) - but not as much fun as having the bar full of laughter, cheering and memory making.
