Our 1st Flush Baihefeng Longjing has officially arrived ✨

Facing Xihu (West Lake) and backed by the Qiantang River, Baihefeng is often shrouded in mist, giving its tea a character that’s truly unparalleled.

Known for its exceptional smooth texture and outstanding sweetness, it remains the highlight of our seasonal offerings, fresh from White Crane Peak.

In this tea season, we had the rare opportunity to visit the Zhou family of Bohetang (薄荷塘), the source of one of our favorite pu’er teas in Xishuangbanna.

Hidden extremely deep in the mountain, the terroir remains accessible only to a few, primarily the Zhou family who pioneered and safeguarded this land.

Here, we explored the tea areas across Type III, II, and I, with Type I being the rarest and most renowned, while overall production remains extremely limited and seldom reaches the market.

It has been a meaningful opportunity for us to bring this tea closer to our tea friends, and we are truly excited to share the uniqueness of this place with everyone!

After nearly 6 months of brewing with a Thai clay teapot prototype crafted by our friend , Chaozhou teapot artist, the results have exceeded our expectations!

Clay from Pathumthani reveals the aroma and flavor of tea with remarkable clarity. Its character sits between Chaozhou Zhuni and Yixing Hongni, while fully preserving the tea’s fragrance without muting or altering its taste.

This is truly exciting for us, as it marks an important step forward for our Thai clay series.

And now, the wait is almost over.

Thai clay teapots crafted by Cai Yujian will soon be available in April 2026.

Stay tuned 🫖

Thank you for joining “Flavors of Rock” 🪨🔥

When people think of rock tea, it often comes down to 3 familiar names of Dahongpao, Rougui, and Shuixian. But in reality, there are many more teas growing within the Wuyishan waiting to be discovered.

In the past, Wuyishan was filled with a wide diversity of tea plants, shaped by natural crossbreeding and generations of propagation. Those with distinctive characteristics were named and became mother plants, later cultivated and passed down over time.

As time went on, new cultivars from outside Wuyishan were also introduced, reflecting changing tastes and preferences across different eras.

In this session, we’ve selected some of lesser-known cultivars to present, offering a different perspective on rock tea. From herbal nuances to more unexpected aromatic profiles, each tea reveals another dimension beyond the classics.

We hope this experience brings you closer to the diversity and depth of rock tea. ❤️

“Flavors of Rock”

Did you know that rock tea isn’t limited to just Dahongpao, Rougui, or Shuixian?

There are many other tea cultivars with remarkable and distinctive characteristics. You may have heard their names before, yet only a few people have truly had the chance to get to know them.

Many of these varieties exist in less yield, more sensitive to weather changes, and are not as resilient as more widely planted cultivars. As a result, only a small amount ever reaches the market.

In this Tea Expedition, we invite you to step outside your usual comfort zone and discover new expressions of rock tea - rare varieties, unique aromas, and flavors that reveal another side of the Wuyi mountains. ⛰️

Guidong 鬼洞 or “Ghost Cave,” is known for its rich gene pool and exceptional diversity. With limited daily sunlight in the valley, the tea develops a cool and calming character, reflecting its origin through mineral depth, gentle florals, and a lingering sweetness.

Our Old Bush Guidong Shuixian is especially loved by Shuixian enthusiasts for its distinctive mountain character and layered aroma.
