Lucky Seven is no different from many bars in Samui forced to close for the last 3 months due to covid restrictions, waiting for a time when we can all welcome customers again.
As a result, many are suffering real hardship in Samui so we decided to try do something to help these people.
With donations from family and friends we packaged 100 food parcels and handed them out at 10 AM this morning. Many came after reading on local Facebook, some riding 4 up on a motorbike with children in hand. Within 10 minutes all parcels had gone and yet more people came, sad to tell them everything was finished.
Based on this experience and seeing so many grateful for a small amount of food, we will endeavour to find a way to do this again.
