Wine Bar and Traditional Thai Art Gallery
Introducing Thailand's first and only wine bar specialising in traditional Thai Art, right here, in the centre of Khao Lak. Thailand is a world renowned hub for culture and art. It has a heritage stretching back many millennia and one that is steeped in Buddhist phi
losophy and local folklore. The stories that are passed down from generation to generation will take the form of a visual narrative, a physical performance or a musical rendition; always a beautiful form of artistic expression. This instinctively creative culture results in a nation rich in art. Introducing Ayisha
Khao Lak has grown over the years, and with this growth has brought an influx of tourist amenities: this includes numerous bars and restaurant, shops and galleries, to name but a few. One thing our little resort town has been lacking, is a centre focused on fine art, cheese and wine. Not only is it Khao Lak's first Traditional Thai Art Gallery and Wine Bar, but it is also the first in Thailand. Ayisha offers an evening of relaxation with an opportunity to browse through some beautiful pieces of original Thai art. The chilled atmosphere is furthered more by the jazz music playing in the background from Monday to Saturday. Jazz – Blues – Jazz lounge. The décor at Ayisha has been well thought out and crafted. Once you pass through the beautiful wooden gate into the art gallery, you will be greeted with a warm and comfortable vibe. Sit back on the sofas and unwind in true Thai style. Ayisha is the perfect location for an evening of conversation and culture. About the Artist

She worked on her own art practice building a solid reputation as an established and skilled painter. Ying moved to khao Lak and it was here where she met her current partner Ni. As these two creative minds met, Ying and Ni decided to organise an art exhibition on the well known artistic hub of Koh Phangan to the likes of which the island had never seen before. They put together a team of artists, creatives and imaginative people who all contributed to the project. It resulted in quite possibly the most progressive art exhibition on Koh Phangan to date. The exhibition was a huge success and met with wide admiration from the artistic community on the island and from further afield. It was during this project that Ying and her husband Ni decided that they could continue their innovative ideas in Khao Lak. And so Ayisha was born...
