Mohammad Azzawi on the Duduk:
“I fell in love with the instrument after first hearing it in 1993 in The Last Temptation of Christ. I became deeply passionate about it and began teaching myself until I reached where I am today, thankfully.”
On the pan flute, Azzawi says:
“I also learned it on my own. I first borrowed one from my teacher, Professor Raad Khalaf, began experimenting with it, and I continue to practice to this day.”
