Vážení hostia,

ďakujeme za priazeň, ktorú ste nám počas našej dlhej cesty venovali.

V roku 2012 sme začali premenou vidieckeho pohostinstva na Kalvin Pub - bar plný zábavy, diskoték a hodových slávností.
Neustály hlad našich hostí, nás postupne priviedol až k doplneniu plnohodnotnej reštaurácie s pridanou hodnotou vlastnej donáškovej služby do okolitých obcí.
Havarijný stav strechy a nutnosť rekonštrukcie skrsla myšlienku renovácie podkrovia s pridanou hodnotou možnoti ubytovnia. A tak sme v roku 2014 otvorili štýlový vidiecky penzión.

Dostali sme sa do bodu kde už "dieťa vyrástlo" a treba ho nechať ísť vlastnou cestou pod novým vedením a majiteľom. Oznamujem, že 31.08.2023 sme ukončili svoju činnosť pod súčasným vedením.

Moje osobné poďakovanie patrí všetkým zamestnancom , ktorí u nás pracovali ale najmä našemu stabilnému tímu.

This is a masonry heater. The configuration of the firebox (where the fire is set) is such that super-oxygenated air is fed to the fire. As a result, the temperature of the fire is about twice that of a normal, open air fire....reaching temperatures of over 1200 F. This means you burn over 90% of the available fuel in the wood (all of the solid fuel plus all of the gaseous resins). So every piece of wood delivers twice the energy. That energy is then stored in the thermal mass...in this case cob (a sculpted adobe mixture of clay, sand, and some straw). This type of heater burns super clean (because all of the gaseous fuel is burned) and is super efficient. A heater like this can easily keep a 2000 SF super-insulated strawbale home comfortable with a single fire a day.
