SALTO YOUTH South East Europe Resource Centre SALTO SEE RC promotes and supports the participation of partners from the Western Balkan countries.

SALTO SEE is a part of MOVIT, the Slovenian National Agency for the Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps programmes, based in Ljubljana. The Centre promotes the participation of young people and other actors in the field of youth and non-formal education from the Programmes' Partner countries in the Western Balkans in the Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps p

rogrammes. It acts as a support service for:
1) The network of Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps National Agencies in the field of co-operation with this region and
2) youth organisations, youth leaders, youth workers and other actors in the field who are interested in developing co-operation between Programme countries and Neighbouring Partner Countries in SEE. Within the framework of European integration of the SEE region, SALTO SEE actively supports the process of accession of all countries of the region to the Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps programmes. Neighbouring partner countries of Erasmus+ in the Western Balkans include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo (*) and Montenegro. Neighbouring partner countries of European Solidarity Corps in the Western Balkans include all of the above and Serbia. (*) This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence. Together with JUGEND fรผr Europa and SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus, we are looking for three experienced facilitators to design and deliver the international seminar:

๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œAll Inโ€ for youth workers strengthening democratic values and attitudes in local communities

๐ŸŒ Across Europe, democratic values are being challenged, reshaped, or even eroded, while polarisation is growing. In this context, youth work plays a crucial role.

This seminar will explore questions like:
โ€ข How can youth work operate in politicised and polarised environments?
โ€ข Is staying โ€œneutralโ€ desirable or even possible?
โ€ข How can youth workers navigate risks and responsibilities while actively contributing to democratic societies?

Since 2021, nearly 24,500 young people have taken part in European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Teams, short-term group projects where volunteers live and work side by side, contributing to local initiatives and the common good.
