Finally getting ready to introduce some of our stock that we exhibited at Takao Whisky Fair. We are proud to introduce, a young and potent Caol Ila 1982, at 12yr old, it has all the hallmarks expected from a 80s Caol Ila, unforgivably coastal. The 1964 Glenfarclas takes center stage, the sherry and distillate perfectly integrated. It is deserving of its high score on WF (94 pts). The 1982 Clynelish is more matured at 27yr. Elegant waxy notes followed by honey. Try this at your next visit here.

We are open till the end of the year Dec 31 2025. As a gesture of thank you to all our friends who have supported us the whole year, we are happy to pour a tasting portion of this fantastic Caperdonich 1980 to all customers with every whisky purchased. (One per customer).

Also on New Year’s Eve, a free Aperol Spritz or a glass of Prosecco welcome drink (one per customer, or while stocks last. Looking forward to having all as we reminisce 2025 for all it’s memories , unpleasant and great whatever they maybe.

Opened some good modern bottling of whisky.

Mortlach 1995 by Asta Morris : Clean and chalky with a hint of Mortlach’s heavy spirit:

Speyside M: Purported to be a Macallan. Heavy sherry, prunes and dried fruit.

Ardmore SMWS 66.109 : Antispetic light hints of bandages like old Laphroaig (just a hint) but without the creaminess. Then lemon and a touch of sweetness.

Jura 1999 OB Heavy Peated: Lemon and citrus , earthy and vegetal peat.

Caol Ila 1996 Hart Brothers: Saline and chalky, lemon rinds. Despite the low abv, carries a significant punch.

Springbank 1993 Sherry Cask for Scoma - Clean sherry reminiscent of some older Springbank from the 1980s .
Aultmore 1989 for High Spirits Italy - Big old style sherry from probably the last of the paxarette casks.
Laphroaig 15yr Cinzano ‘Big Red’ +/- 1985. - Old Laphroaig style with soft peat , minerals and light fruits .
Glenburgie 1983 for SMWS Japan - a razor sharp mineral note with layers of light green fruits.
Lagavulin 1995 - OB Select Cask for Hong Kong Syndicate - coastal maritime peat notes layered for ripe fruits.

As part of celebrating SG60, we have a lineup of 5 whiskies ( 1 mystery) , and including our recently released whisky. The price will be SGD60 nett. Perhaps a little milking the concept, but also you can watch the NDP on our projector.

Our new fun project is here: A purposely kept secret speyside whisky. In order to reach out to more people we have deliberately watered this down to 42.8% to make it more approachable. A limited quantity are available at the bar, for drinking , to take away or to keep in the bar. We are immensely proud of this turned out. A easy drinking whisky , fruity and firm profile. .
