Decorative fixtures, soft uplighting that enhances the sense of openness, and low-level lighting integrated into the interior come together to create a calm spatial experience designed for pause and transition.

Our collaboration with at .sg was built around one idea: the lighting should feel inevitable — warm-toned, layered, and precise. Indirect sources from both high and low positions create ambient depth, while accent lighting brings out the textures and details of each dish.

Designing for drama at Geneo. A 27-metre structure of timber columns and arches demands lighting that matches its ambition — so we kept fixtures minimal and let narrow-beam uplights do the heavy lifting. Floor-recessed and precisely aimed, they carve contrast from the wood and push the eye upward. 3000K warmth sets the timber glowing against the cool white of surrounding office spaces. Downlights neatly integrated with the ceiling provide the necessary illumination to the floor without glare, defying the ceiling's height. Cathedral scale. Zero clutter.

Pools of warm illumination at low levels draw the eye downward — creating intimacy within the open, high-ceilinged office after dark. Decorative lighting nestled within the plantings plays with light and shadow, uplights cast silhouettes across the walls, and downlights lay a quiet carpet of light across the floor.

For decades, bright, uniform lighting has been the default for office lobbies. But at Nipek, we challenge convention. As daylight fades, so does the intensity — low-level lighting takes over, turning a high-traffic lobby into a space of calm and quiet for everyone winding down their day.
