宮崎県が主導する
宮崎焼酎のプロモーション企画の一環として、
宮崎の焼酎蔵元の皆さまがシンガポールを訪れていました。
今回の取り組みでは、
いつもお世話になっている 伊勢五本店さん や
The Beverage Clique Academy の皆さまのご協力のもと、
試飲会やセミナーなど、さまざまなプログラムが開催されました。
セミナーには、
宮崎焼酎をメインにしたイベント
「Miyazaki Shochu Mix Up」 をプロデュースされている
皆さまご存知の 南雲さん も参加され、
蔵元の皆さまと共に、熱のこもった内容が展開されていました。
私自身も試飲会やセミナーに参加し、
蔵元の皆さま達には RPM にもお越しいただきました。
また、セミナーが RPMの定休日 だったこともあり、
ご一緒にバーホッピングにも参加し、
焼酎愛あふれる貴重なお話を伺ったり、
焼酎カクテルについても熱く語り合ったりと、
とても充実した時間を過ごすことができました。
これからも RPM では宮崎焼酎を大切に使わせていただき、
そしてぜひまた宮崎県にも伺いたいと思っております。
素晴らしい機会を本当にありがとうございました。

As part of a Miyazaki Shochu promotion project led by Miyazaki Prefecture,
shochu distillers from Miyazaki visited Singapore.
For this initiative, with the kind support of Isego Honten , whom we always work closely with,
and The Beverage Clique Academy ,
a variety of programs were held, including tasting sessions and seminars.
One of the seminars featured Mr. Shuzo Nagumo ,
well known for producing “Miyazaki Shochu Mix Up,” an event centered on Miyazaki shochu.
Together with the distillers, the session was filled with passion and deep insight.
I also had the opportunity to attend the tastings and seminars,
and it was a great pleasure to welcome the distillers to RPM as well.
As the seminar day coincided with RPM’s regular day off,
I was able to join them for a bar-hopping evening,
where we shared meaningful conversations filled with shochu passion
and exchanged ideas enthusiastically about shochu cocktails.
It was truly a memorable and enriching experience.
At RPM, we will continue to treat Miyazaki shochu with great care and respect,
and this experience has also made me want to visit Miyazaki again in the near future.
