Founder Maggie Bolger was a young mum with 3 kids under the age of 4 and felt uninspired by venues and children’s activities on offer, and places in which the whole family could cherish and enjoy ’together’ time. After meeting Rose and dreaming of such a place that children and grownups could enjoy alike, the concept of a Family Member’s Club was born in 2007 with the opening of the first site in
Kensington, London – a mews house with epic class studios, innovative juice bar/café and a Pre-Nursery for 1.5-2.5 year olds. In 2013 Maggie & Rose opened its doors with a second site in London, this time in Chiswick with a ‘super club’ housing not only bespoke soft play areas, class studios, a snug and a brasserie, but also a grand roof terrace complete with pizza shack, a secret walled garden with a double decker bus and wonky treehouse, and also The Village Nursery - a day nursery for 1-5 year olds. Over the year’s members, guests and like-minded brands have all experienced what family life can be, and it is no wonder that the word has spread globally and now families everywhere are desiring such surroundings where childhood memories are created.
