Arriving the week before Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ is our new ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ #๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐‘๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ ๐†๐ฅ๐ž๐ง range!

From historic Scottish distilleries like ๐€๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ, ๐†๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ž, ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค, ๐‹๐š๐ฉ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐š๐ข๐ , ๐‹๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ง and ๐Œ๐š๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง, they pay tribute to whisky icon Charles Doig in 2025โ€™s Creations catalogue, ๐‘ญ๐’๐’–๐’๐’…๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’”.

Each of these distilleries showcases structural aspects of architect Doigโ€™s work, of which the invention of the pagoda chimney to improve the malting process is perhaps most recognised.

Titled Rothes Glen, this edition is named after the only private residence ever constructed by Doig โ€“ a manor erected in 1893 in the Scottish Highlands. Artist Victor Ekpuk was given the honour of illustrating the labels of the 14th Edition with his mix of visual art and writing.

Happy Caroni Day! 9th December is dedicated to remembering an origin story as extraordinary as the rum.

โ€œEvery time I tell this story,
I wonder if it really happenedโ€ says Luca Gargano. With good reason. It was in 2004 that the Velier chief landed on Trinidad and discovered thousands of barrels of Caroni rum entirely by chance, after the distillery was abandoned following the governmentโ€™s decision to cease cane sugar production.

Luca obtained a hundred barrels of Caroni dating back to the mid-1980s that year, with a thousand more following by 2011. The rest is history. โ€˜Caroni-maniaโ€™ spread, and today you can enjoy these vanishingly rare expressions by the dram from the lovingly-curated Caroni Paradise series.

The best 23 of the remaining 100 or so Caroni barrels were selected to give rise to 11 editions: today, all available by the dram at our Robertson Quay bar.

LMDWโ€™s own Artist Collective series reflects the richness and diversity of Scottish single malt. Featuring a careful selection of casks from various distilleries, the seventh series encompasses a wide assortment of styles, ages and regions.

Representing Japan, Ireland and the Caribbean, they came. Chichibu distillery, Teeling Whiskey and La Maison & Velier informed and educated their fans in equal measure at Whisky Live Singapore, and the new releases they bore certainly didn't hurt.

Guests of Ichiro's Malt were in for a huge treat when they got first tastes of La Maison du Whisky APAC's exclusive Flower Series #4 single cask, on top of the Paris Edition!

Teeling's Manhattan Negroni cask exclusive for Singapore took pride of place alongside the latest Rising Reserves. And discovery was always ripe with LM&V displaying the latest Magnum series that featured a 13 Y.O LROK Hampden Estate Rum!

All that discovery has us hankering for last weekend again โ€“ we certainly hopes it leaves you hungry for the next edition of Whisky Live Singapore!

Big moments were celebrated at Whisky Live Singapore, with Gordon & MacPhail Whisky, Nikka Whisky & Kavalan Whisky sharing their milestones last weekend!

Fittingly for an all-VIP edition at Mandala Club, G&Mโ€™s fourth-generation Richard Urquhart answered excited onlookers about the landmark Benromach Whiskyโ€™s 50 Y.O together with their Recollection series, all on display to represent their history being intertwined with that of single malt whisky.

Expressions from legendary distilleries were served for a lucky few at G&Mโ€™s masterclass, just as Emiko Kaji brought the story of Nikkaโ€™s celebratory Nine Decades to life during hers.

That crowned Nikkaโ€™s presence at Whisky Live Singapore โ€“ their rave canapรฉ-pairing experience at their booth showing that innovation never stops even when youโ€™re 90 years young!

Kavalan similarly took the stage to unveil their 15th Anniversary single malts, the oldest expressions from Yilan just yet. Encompassing everything that these Taiwanese pioneers have stood for, alongside Solist casks bottled for La Maison du Whisky Singaporeโ€™s โ€˜๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌโ€™ catalogue, their booth โ€“ like others โ€“ left guests hungry to see what else is on the horizon in the year ahead!
