Finally made the difficult decision to open this bottle!

Port Ellen 1982, bottled for Thosop BVBA, Belgium

Aged 27 years, bottled at 56.0% ABV in 2010

Nose: citrus peels, bread, olive oil, herbs/spices, dry smoke
Palate: citrus fruits, dried berries, black tea, dry peat, to***co leaves, honey, saline
Finish: Roasted malt, black tea, peat smoke. Very long finish

Opened a new Springbank….selected by “Whisky for You” (Giorgio D'Ambrosio and Franco Dilillo)!

Distilled 1998, aged 24 years in bourbon barrel, bottled at 53.2%.

Very powerful SB, packed with sweet fruits, dried fig, mineral and caramel!

No wonder rated 91.66 on WB and 92 on WF!
