After ten years behind the bar at Osaka’s speakeasy , owner and bartender Hiro Nakayama opened Karuda, a joint project exploring the intersection of coffee and cocktails.

He will be joined by Makihara, better known as Mackie, an integral team member of Nayuta since 2022 and now a senior bartender of Karuda.

Experience a menu spanning years of careful forages across the Northern Californian coastline, the ancient woodlands of England, the high Himalayas, and the spice-soaked markets of Bombay - rooted, of course, in a stubbornly Southeast Asian palate. Hiking boots sold separately.
