December marks twelve years since Oosters first opened its doors way back in 2003. Twelve years is a very long time in F&B, and much has changed. Singapore’s beer market has changed and continues to do so in many exciting ways, whilst our neighbourhood of Far East Square / Capital Square has also changed, in ways that are perhaps not so exciting.

Our twelve year anniversary means that it’s time to again renew our three year lease, but this time we’re sad to say that we’ve decided not to renew, and instead we’re going to bow out gracefully. Next year there’ll be new things, but between now and then, it’s time to take a break.

Friday, 11th December will be our last day at Capital Square, so if you’d like to drop by for a last good beer (at the place where maybe you had your first good beer?), we’d be very happy to see you.
