Of the 3 Leovilles, we always have a soft spot for the Bartons as we feel they offer the best price-quality ratio. Leoville Bartons are structured and masculine wines; probably due to the higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in their blend. We’ve restock our 2018 vintage which is drinking deliciously now. Intense aromas of black fruits layered with cassis notes. Medium bodied, structured and firm tannins.

Tenuta Luce was presented to us a couple of years ago during a tasting with Ornellaia and Masseto. It was their new baby to present to the world. Crafted with the same uncompromising standards as these legendary houses, it honors its lineage while expressing Tuscany’s diverse terroirs. Expect a bold Super Tuscan showing dark fruit, floral lift, spice complexity and refined, lingering tannins—an impressive wine made to stand beside the very best.

A rare expression from Domaine Ponsot — Clos des Monts Luisants Vieilles Vignes, the only Premier Cru in Burgundy dedicated entirely to Aligoté.
