We are excited to offer the highly prized Mangalitsa Pork from the Pápai Hús Butchery, established in Hungary more than 100 years ago‼️✨️
Known as the Wagyu of Pork, the Mangalitsa Pork’s exceptional marbling gives its reddish meat a rich, succulent texture and flavour. Its creamy white fat is lighter and melts at a lower temperature than other pig breeds, which easily penetrates the meat when cooked.
The Mangalitsa Pork contains 60% unsaturated fatty acids (healthy fat) and its lard is high in Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.
At UB3 Bistro, the Mangalitsa Pork is offered as a special dish for a limited time. The pork loin rack is grilled and served with a Pumpkin & Thyme puree, Brocollini, braised King Oyster slices and a pan fried Saffron Rice cake topped with Potato Cream.
