House of Metal välkomnar Abbath som årets andra headliner till festivalen!

Nu släpper vi även dagordningen samt 1-dagars biljetter till festivalen för 875 kr (inkl. Serviceavgift & garderob). Nu finns även “Ultimate Ticket” ute för den som vill gå på Powerpose FM, Jazzfestival och House of Metal med ett enda biljettköp.

ABBATH (Norge)
Abbath, som föddes ur askan av Immortal, en av Norsk Black Metals mest trogna band, är skapelsen av Immortals frontman och gitarrist Abbath Doom Occulta.

Inspirerade av bland andra Kiss, Motörhead, Manowar och Bathory släppte Abbath sitt självbetitlade debutalbum, ”Abbath” 2016, följt av ”Outstrider” (2019) och ”Dread Reaver” (2022).

House of Metal är stolta över att återigen få välkomna Abbath tillbaka till Umeå, 14 år efter att Immortal spelade på festivalen.

House of Metal välkomnar Moloken till årets festival!

Bandet är årets sista bokning till Studion-scenen och nästa fredag, 14/8, kan vi äntligen gå ut med årets andra headline till Idun-scenen. I samband med detta släpper vi även upp 1-dagars biljetter och kan avslöja vilka dagar respektive band spelar på.

MOLOKEN (Sverige)
Sedan 2007 har Umeåbandet Moloken rört sig fritt mellan doom, death, black, sludge och post metal utan att låta sig begränsas av genrer. Med kompromisslös tyngd, atmosfär och intensitet har de etablerat sig som ett av Sveriges mest särpräglade metalband.

Den 25 september släpper Moloken sitt femte och självbetitlade album – deras första på s*x år. Skivan markerar en återgång till bandets doomrötter samtidigt som ren sång, akustiska inslag och subtila influenser från nordisk folkmusik breddar uttrycket. Texterna kretsar kring medvetandets tyngd, döden och evigheten.

På scen förvandlas detta till en intensiv och omslutande upplevelse där tyngd, melankoli och närvaro står i centrum. Bandets spelning på årets festival kan även ses som releasefest för det nya självbetitlade albumet.

House of Metal welcomes Moloken to this year's festival!

The band is the last booking of the year for the Studion stage and next Friday, 14/8, we can finally announce the second headliner of the year for the Idun stage. In connection with this, we are also releasing 1-day tickets and can reveal which days each band will be playing.

MOLOKEN (Sweden)
Since 2007, the Umeå band Moloken has moved freely between doom, death, black, sludge and post metal without being limited by genres. With uncompromising heaviness, atmosphere and intensity, they have established themselves as one of Sweden's most distinctive metal bands.

On September 25, Moloken will release their fifth and self-titled album - their first in six years. The album marks a return to the band's doom roots, while clean vocals, acoustic elements and subtle influences from Nordic folk music broaden the expression. The lyrics revolve around the weight of consciousness, death and eternity.

On stage, this transforms into an intense and enveloping experience where heaviness, melancholy and presence take center stage. The band's performance at this year's festival can also be seen as a release party for the new self-titled album.

Vi vet att det varit dåligt med uppdateringar under sommaren, men det ska semestras osv. Men, detta betyder inte att vi stänger ner vårt arbete helt utan kan nu stolt säga att årets line-up är klar!

I augusti kommer vi att presentera årets andra headline band samt sista bandet till Studion-scenen. Vi har även fått namnen på två av banden till Nemis-scenen och inväntar bara namnen på de tre övriga.

We know that there have been few updates during the summer, but you gotta have a vacation sometime. However, this does not mean that we have shut down our work completely, since we can now proudly say that this year's line-up is completed!

In August we will present the second headline band of the year and the last band for the Studion stage. We have also received the names of two of the bands for the Nemis stage and are just waiting for the names of the other three.

It's with heavy hearts we've come to the decision to shut down Bandbond. We no longer have the time or energy to put into the project, and we're still losing money every month.

It's a bittersweet moment, since it's a such a nice app and community we've built together, but we can't see any realistic way to keep it going for now.

We are so grateful for every single one of you — your support meant the world to us and kept this project alive. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Det har varit en hel del inlägg på senare som inte varit kopplade till just årets House of Metal festival, men vi vill självklart även göra vad vi kan för att hjälpa våra festivalvänner runt om när de frågar om samarbeten sinsemellan.

Detta betyder ju dock inte att vi inte jobbar febrilt med årets upplaga bakom kulisserna. Vi är väldigt nöjda med årets bokningar hittills och ser framemot att presentera 8 band till innan årets line-up är klar.

Nemis ansökan till årets festival är avslutad och där inväntar vi just nu namnen för banden som kommer att få ta del av festivalen i år. Utöver det så har vi fortfarande ett band att presentera till Idun- respektive Studion scenen 🤘🏻

There have been quite a few posts recently that have not been related specifically to this year’s House of Metal festival, but we of course also want to do what we can to help our festival friends when they ask about collaborations and so on.

However, this does not mean that we are not working feverishly on this year’s edition behind the scenes. We are very pleased with this year’s bookings so far and look forward to presenting 8 more bands before this year’s lineup is completed.

The Nemis application for this year’s festival are closed, and we are now awaiting the names of the bands that will get to take part in this year’s festival. In addition, we still have one band left to present for the Idun and Studio stages 🤘🏻
