We’ve reached the end of the interviews! Last out but far away from the least 🤩 Gabbi is based in the Italian alps since many years, guiding for us since 2017 ❤️

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- For me, it’s definitely the people. I love meeting guests, guides and colleagues from all over the world, and I really enjoy being able to share my passion for the mountains and the places I get to experience. Making people feel welcome, comfortable and well taken care of is what I enjoy the most.

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- Italy will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve lived here for 16 years, so I feel very much at home working in the Italian Alps. But I also love working across the Alps, every place has its own charm and something special to offer.

- When I’m not working with Alpine Legends, I run my own little B&B in the Italian alps. I’m also a mum of three, so there’s never a dull moment! I love being outdoors with my family and taking the kids on mountain adventures, from skiing to hiking.

People often ask where we are based, the answer is more difficult than the question. It’s time for Niclas to answer our questions, he’s based in the French alps and has been guiding for Alpine Legends since 2016 ✨

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- To see old and new places in the mountain world and show people all these amazing places.

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- Had so many over the years but a new one is Schruns in Montafon. Hotels, the skiing and the mountain restaurants are fantastic.

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends? (Other work/hobbies)
- I live in Chamonix since many years and work as a Bootfitter in the winter and Wind turbine technician in the summer.

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- Go skiing with the clients and give high end service!

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- I like all resorts in different ways. (But mostly in Italy). Each resort is different each time, depending on what group you’re there with.

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends?
- I work as a project manager at the event company Aventi. I love doing all types of sport and exercise, right now it’s a lot of golf ☺️

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- Connecting people, meeting the true legends out there in the mountains, from the local hero running the mountain hut, the sheep farmer that takes our guests to an unforgettable Aperò, to the mountain guide you get to hang out with year after year. All of them feels like a colleague with the same passion for service, the mountains and the outdoors. When we all meet, that’s when magic happens.

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- It’s difficult to choose just one, but the whole Arlberg area is definitely special. The combination of great skiing, stunning scenery, the people, the food and the best afterskis in the world makes it a place I always enjoy returning to.

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends?
- I’m enjoying my life in the small mountain town of Engelberg, spend my days running a hotel for skiers by skiers with a super cool crew of friends that shares the same passion for the outdoors as me. I love mountain biking and when I get some time off work I prefer to spend it downhill on my bike. In winter I rather go on a nice ski tour enjoying the mountains.

From the Italian mountains to the Swedish west coast. However, he keeps returning to his roots, caring for our guests both on and off the slopes. Guiding since 2017.

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- The atmosphere and the people. Working with guests from different companies, sharing amazing mountain experiences together, and being part of a passionate and professional team makes every week special.

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- It’s difficult to choose only one, but I really enjoy working in Courmayeur because of the incredible scenery, the skiing possibilities, and the international atmosphere.

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends?
- When I’m not working with Alpine Legends, I work as a hiking and E-MTB bike guide in Italy, mainly in the Alps and around the Amalfi Coast. I also love mountain biking, spending time outdoors, and cooking.

Time for Nina to take the scene, as fast as a jet plane on skis, constantly smiling and spreading her energy!

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- Everything! I get to hang out with fun and inspiring guests, work with absolutely brilliant and solution-oriented colleagues — AND I get to do all of this in the mountains — my happy place😄

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- Hard to pick just one, but if I have to choose, I’d say Schruns

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends?
- By day I’m an SAP Application Specialist in the supply chain area at Axfood IT. The rest of the time you’ll find me on skis or on a bike — preferably together with family and friends.
Fun facts: I’m a Currywurst enthusiast, I prefer doing the dishes over cooking (eating, however, I’m excellent at 😋), my proudest item of clothing is my Mora folk costume — I was on the winning team at the Swedish Synchronized Skiing Championships in 1988 (and I’m also a former slalom and mogul racer). Safe to say, I have a soft spot for skis😂

This guy has been around Alpine Legends for quite some time, both as a friend and as a guest. Since 2024 we are proud to also call him colleague and guide 🤩

- My favorite winter resort to work in (so far) is Chamonix. It’s a bit difficult because it’s actually a small city rather than a resort, making things harder at times, but there’s no place like it if you really want to experience true Alpine nature and surroundings, and maybe actually meet a true Alpine Legend.

- What I like the most working with AL is best described with P&P, People and Places. I have an endlessly curious mind and meeting new people and seeing new places is a way of feeding that curiosity.

- When I’m not working with AL I keep myself busy in the field of Design and Architecture. And when I’m not working at all I usually find myself running around with friends trying to get in shape or hanging out with my two teenagers.

What do you like best working with Alpine Legends?
- I get to share places in the mountains I’m passionate about with interesting people from all walks of life, and that never gets old. Guests, suppliers and colleagues making magic happen together.

What winter resort is your favorite to work in?
- If I can only choose one, it’s Courmayeur, Italy❤️

What do you do when you’re not working with Alpine Legends?
- When not working… I live slow and ride fast. (Bikes that is😉)
