International jazz festival in Gothenburg Here you will hear world renowned and hyped acts as well as the stars of tomorrow.

Gmlstn Jazz Festival is an international and modern stage for high quality jazz of today with prominent artists and tomorrow's stars from Sweden and the world. One of the festival's ambitions is to put Gothenburg on the international modern “jazz map”, and offer a unique cultural experience with music, food and atmosphere. It will be a party for your ears. This year we continue collaboration with

other great local arrangers in the rich and thriving Gothenburg jazz scene. This year we focus on collaborations with all of the amazing clubs around the whole of Gothenburg. Behind the project is the non-profit organization Gamlestaden Jazz Festival and many great collaborators. The festival is supported by the generous contributions from Kulturrådet, Göteborg Stad, Fastighetsägare i Gamlestaden, FolkUniversitet, KulturUngdom, Östra Göteborg Stadsdel, Näringslivsgruppen Göteborg & Co and Musik Centrum Väst. www.gmlstnjazz.com

Hi everyone ♡
We have been working on Gmlstn Jazz festival for 5 fantastic years all with great success. We want to thank everyone who had made these events possible. This year we feel that it is necessary to take a break and rather come back strong in 2020, because we want to prepare 5 more years of great music and strengthen our festival structure and core. The truth is that organizing a festival each year on this scale demands such a great amount of resources, energy and planning (and economy!) that we want to take this year to regroup with a little more time in between. As you all know Gothenburg will be celebrating also the 400 years and we will be partners with a bigger program.
Looking forward! Save the dates for 2020: 12-18 October.
