Old photo from 2015, when 1000 m chairlift (built in 1975) still was running. The chairlift was removed in 2017. There are plans of a replacing t-bar lift. And probably also a replacing cable car/gondola

The Cable Car, Åre Kabinbana, was built 1974-1975. Opened 6:th of May 1976. Has soon been running for 50 years. There are plans to remove it and replace it by a gondola in a few years #
