Emagic responded positively to a local initiative from a group of enthusiastic young people from Targu Mures and in 2017 started Romania’s first boutique festival, AWAKE. For 3 editions the festival took place at the historical Teleki Estate, amongst the woodland and banks of the Mures river, as an immersive summer escape. Tens of thousands of fans danced to a diverse mix of eclectic sounds, with

drum & bass and electro sitting alongside indie, pop, rock and punk, as established global acts joined up with breakthrough local acts on the stages of AWAKE. The 2021 edition will be AWAKE Nomad Edition, with the festival lowering the capacity for safety reasons, but making up for it by visiting 5 cities in Romania.

Cota redusă de 5% se va aplică pentru:

”b) serviciile constând în permiterea accesului la castele, muzee, case memoriale, monumente istorice, monumente de arhitectură și arheologice, grădini zoologice și botanice, cinematografe, spectacole organizate de instituțiile publice ale statului/autorităților publice/instituțiilor publice;

Prevederile intră în vigoare la 1 octombrie.

Guvernul intenționează să implementeze o serie de măsuri cu scopul de a reduce deficitul bugetar, iar una dintre aceste măsuri presupune creșterea cotei TVA pentru evenimentele culturale de la 5% la 19% ❗

Asociația Organizatorilor de Concerte din România (AROC) a inițiat un demers prin care își propune să prezinte Guvernului consecințele negative ale acestei măsuri. Și sperăm că și publicul cumpărător de bilete va susține acest demers.

Iată doar câteva dintre motivele pentru care modificarea TVA-ului va avea consecințe grave asupra sectorului privat de evenimente.
Mărirea cotei TVA:

➡️ Nu va aduce mai mulți bani la bugetul de stat;
➡️ Va genera scumpiri nesustenabile ale biletelor la evenimente;
➡️ Va influența desființarea multor locuri de muncă, iar organizațiile mai mici vor dispărea;
➡️ Va transforma industria de evenimente muzicale în cea mai taxată industrie din România;
