The Dubliner

The Dubliner Established in 1994, The Dubliner is the oldest Irish Pub in Bucharest.
(279)

The Dubliner Irish Pub, having stood for more than a quarter of a century as a social and community hub for expats and locals alike, is not merely a drinking place but, as regarded by many, an institution in its own right and a landmark on Bucharest's bar and pub map. Our regular customers, a charming mix of foreign and local people of various backgrounds, virtually all knowing each other, create a warm and friendly environment in which the new visitor feels instantly at home.

A belated Happy 32nd Birthday to The Dubliner. ☘️
With so much happening in the world these days, this special moment slipped by a little too quietly, but places like The Dubliner are never measured by one day on the calendar.
For 32 years, The Dubliner has been more than a pub. It has been a meeting place, a refuge, a celebration, a tradition, even if only somewhere to go on St Patrick's Day. A place where friendships began over a pint, stories grew louder as the evening went on, songs were shared, rugby and football matches were watched with full hearts, and strangers became regulars.
In a city that has changed so much, The Dubliner has remained something rare: a place with real soul. Warm, welcoming, lively, familiar, the kind of place people remember long after the night is over.
To everyone who has ever come in for a pint, raised a glass, brought a friend, found romance, celebrated a milestone, cheered on their favourite team or simply found comfort here at the end of on an ordinary day's work: Thank You. You are part of the story. You are the reason this place has lasted, and why it still matters.
And to those haven’t visited yet, come by for the atmosphere, stay for the people, the laughter, the music, the food, the pints, and that unmistakable feeling that some places just get it right.
Here’s to 32 years of character, community, and craic. And to many more years still to come.
Happy Anniversary, The Dubliner. Sláinte! 🍻
