💄 On May 19th, 1962, Marilyn Monroe delivered one of the most iconic pop-culture performances of the 20th century at JFK’s birthday gala in New York, singing her unforgettable rendition of Happy Birthday, Mr. President. Elegant, mysterious and timeless, Marilyn transformed a simple performance into a cultural moment that still echoes through music, cinema and fashion today.

PAOLO PROFETI & ȘTEFAN STOIANOVICI .stefan live at Echoes Haus .haus 🎹🎷

An intimate yet dynamic evening built around the musical conversation between two long-time collaborators. Saxophone and piano move freely through standards, original compositions and reimagined pieces, creating a space that is both refined and emotionally present.

Paolo Profeti, Italian-born saxophonist and a key figure in Bucharest’s contemporary jazz scene, meets Ștefan Stoianovici, a pianist and composer known for bridging jazz, classical and modern textures. Together, they bring a shared language shaped over years of collaboration into a stripped-back, expressive format.

April 14, 1561 — A celestial phenomenon was reported over Nuremberg, described as an aerial battle. A broadsheet by Hans Glaser documented what appeared to be a mass sighting of strange objects in the sky: spheres, crosses, and cylinders moving in chaotic formations. Some believe these were extraterrestrial spacecraft, while skeptics argue it was a rare atmospheric event, possibly a sun dog… though the imagery never quite matched known explanations.

Last day open at Echoes before the Easter break. Join us for an amazing live concert .ember 🥂🌚

We’ll be taking a short pause from April 10th to 13th, and we’ll be back on Tuesday, April 14th, for our regular Jam Sessions (ep. 112).

Our symbol and logo has always been a story of connection:
the large circle - the Moon; the small circle - the Earth. It’s a visual representation of the far side of the Moon and the Earthrise, as a nod to our main inspiration — Pink Floyd and, more specifically their 1973 album The Dark Side of The Moon.

These days, our eyes are turned upward. The Artemis II mission is carrying some wonderful people around the Moon once again. They are accompanied by Rise and our hopes for a more united future. There is something deeply stirring seeing the Earth from afar. It makes the pettiness go away.
While the mission hasn’t even landed back home yet, it already brings us closer to the moment when humanity will touch an alien world once again and show us we can be much better and that together we are more than the sum of our parts.

We wish you a beautiful holiday, close to your loved ones, singing the music of your people.

We’ll miss you too,
