Cortes de Cima

In 2019 at CDC, we took a new evolutional path. We started to learn to look at the project in a new holistic way, thinking about where we want to be in the future.
We're trying to take the best from what was already built and begin to create a new healthy path for us. In 2020 we converted the whole property to organic farming, started using regenerative practices, reducing our vineyard areas to the best terroirs and moving from monoculture to polyculture. During this time we have learned that it is not the final destination that matters but the JOURNEY.
And the journey has lots of ups and downs, and we're trying to learn to surf and find our balance in that transformation.
Last year we started slowly applying biodynamic practices in our personal and farm life... and we understand that it is a never-ending journey. But the new smells and colors surrounding us give us hope. There is a bright future, and we can create a better place for us and the future generations.

Sua curiosidade foi despertada pelos muitos elogios que Portalegre, um Alentejo distinto por sua altitude e frescura, recebia na altura. A procura por algo único na região resultou no encontro com UMA incrível vinha velha, que ultrapassa os 70 anos, na Serra da São Mamede a 700 metros de altitude que compõe o UMA tinto 2019.
