When I have decided to get in this competition all I wanted was to create a cocktail that I would be proud of

Recipe
30ml / 1oz plantation pineapple rum
30ml / 1oz white rum
15ml / 0.25oz 2:1 cinnamon syrup
22.5ml / 0.75oz fresh lime juice
15ml / 0.25oz homemade banana liqueur
30ml / 1oz fresh pineapple juice

Aguardente Bagaceira Sour

This is probably the most portuguese cocktail we can make alongside the Porto Tonico. Aguardente bagaceira or Bagaço is known all over Portugal but not used in cocktails.
In terms of flavour it delivers but I am not 100% happy with it yet, keep your eyes peeled because we are perfecting this recipe

Recipe
60ml aguardente bagaceira
30ml 1:1 sugar syrup
30ml fresh lemon juice

Garnish with angostura aromatic bitters

The Army & Navy is a delicious sour and you might have all the necessary ingredients at home to make 😉

Gin, lemon juice and orgeat, that’s it.
Orgeat is simply “almond milk syrup”
