Querid@s Amig@s, vimos divulgar a oportunidade de, AO LONGO DESTA SEMANA (Seg. 29 Set. - Dom. 5 Out.) participarem numa experiencia unica de assistirem na construcao de dois HOME Yurts a 20 min. da cidade de Portalegre, com alojamento, comida vegetariana e vinho/cerveja incluidos. Temos 4 vagas disponiveis para aquel@s que puderem disponibilizar idealmente um minimo de 2 dias, mas aceitamos participacoes diarias. As atividades sao variadas e incluem carpintaria, pintura, montagem e ajuda com a logistica do evento (comes e bebes). INSCRICOES ABERTAS em [email protected] / PARTILHA E VEM DAI'! :)

Dear Friends, we're announcing the opportunity to participate in an unique experience of assisting in the building process of two HOME Yurts, ANY TIME DURING THIS WEEK (Mon. 29 Sep. - Sun. 5 Oct.), 20 min. away from Portalegre city, with vegetarian food, wine/beer and accommodation included. We have 4 places available for those of you who are able to ideally commit to a minimum of 2 days, but we also accept daily participations. All architecture begins with the tent. Tents are what humans lived in before we put down roots and began our love affair with bricks and mortar.

Has civilisation - and architects in particular - unfairly overlooked the brilliant, efficient design of the tent? In an overcrowded world faced with a housing crisis and dwindling natural resources, could the tent be the answer? Tom Dyckhoff thinks it could well be.
