This time, we’re welcoming bottles from Canada, the USA, the UK, Germany, Australia, France, Portugal, India, Luxembourg and Spain.

Each bottle adds something new to our collection, bringing a little piece of another country to São Miguel, Azores.

We’re still processing, and it’s heartbreaking to say…

We sadly lost Snow a couple of days ago, and we wanted to share this with you because we know she was part of so many of your visits, too. Many of you stopped to say hello, take a photo, or simply spend a little moment with her.

It’s hard to imagine the Gin Library without Snow. We’ll miss her presence around here more than words can say.

Thank you for all the messages and kindness you’ve sent our way. ❤️‍🩹

We’ll keep going, taking care of this place and all the little things that make it what it is. Snow will always be part of our story. 🤍

September brought us a lot of new bottles… and somehow, even 20 slides weren’t enough. So here’s Part 2, with a Part 3 already waiting in the wings. 👀

This time, we welcomed bottles from Portugal, Greece, USA, Canada, Japan and the Czech Republic.

Most arrived through our Bottle Swap, where visitors bring a gin that isn’t already in our collection and exchange it for one of our Azorean-made gins. Every swap adds another bottle, and another story, to the shelves.

2019: 300 bottles, a passion and, one very big idea.

Today: 7 years of existence
2,700+ bottles.
One very big story.

What started as a corner of a restored estate, 150 years of history is now home to the world’s largest gin collection.

Not because we set out to only collect bottles, but because our goal was to create a community where people from all over the world could unite for a moment, a pause, a memory, an experience.

We’re celebrating this September when everything started.

Our own gins were born from that same idea. Created by Ali, a man who’s been collecting gin over 20 years and probably the most gin lover . Ghosts of Ocean range was born: to support the waters this island depends on.

None of this happens without you, who walk through our doors, the ones who become regulars and know exactly which gin they’ll drink first, the travelers who came for “curiosity” and stayed for the stories, the team who pours with the same care every single time.

7 years in, the mission hasn’t changed: good gin, real stories, a community worth raising a glass to.
