Estimada família Rrusstyka,
Este é o nosso comunicado de Boas-Festas que vem quebrar um longo silêncio voluntário dispensado de justificações. Após tantos meses sentimos o dever de nos manifestarmos e de vos informar sobre as nossas perspectivas.
Sobre o ano que passou não há muito a relatar. Queremos obviamente agradecer a quem nunca nos abandona, a todas as bandas, ao público, aos amigos que por cá passaram, e igualmente a quem viu o nosso encontro adiado pela pandemia… Enfim, lamúrias sobre 2020 são inúteis, nós temos é que mudar o presente por um futuro melhor.
Queremos com isto dizer que não nos resignamos ao “novo normal”, queremos o “normal normal”. Discordamos das regras impostas actualmente que nos impedem de realizar concertos como consideramos que estes devem acontecer. Nós somos intrinsecamente uma associação cultural e artística que faz concertos de Metal de originais, e vamos agir como tal. Portanto, não haverá concertos no Rrusstyk até que seja possível fazer concertos “normais”. E vamos continuar a lutar por isso de todas as formas que pudermos.
Contudo, as nossas portas estão abertas e ESTAMOS a AGENDAR para 2021, mas sempre sob a condição de as normas vigentes na altura serem adequadas, caso contrário o evento é adiado. É preciso alguma coragem e compreensão de todas as partes, mas nós estamos na disposição de correr esse risco e sempre fomos perseverantes.
Queremos ainda apelar à vossa tomada de posição também, ao erguer e à união da comunidade metaleira e dos seus velhos ideais. Nós que sempre caminhámos à margem das massas, que praticamos a revolução diariamente pelo estilo de música que ouvimos e seguimos apaixonadamente, não podemos ser apáticos num momento destes. A irreverência é a nossa condição natural, nós somos “Breaking the law”!
Concluímos desejando a todos um feliz Natal e um próspero Ano Novo. E que 2021 seja diferente, mas para melhor, sejamos essa mudança. Obrigado a todos, por tudo, estamos sempre juntos. Muita saúde, alegria, e força criaturas!

Dear Rrusstyk family,
After a long and self-imposed period of silence, no explanations needed, here’s our “Happy Holidays” message. After several months we feel that we must say something and inform you about our future plans. There’s not much to say about this past year. We obviously want to thank those who always had our back and supported us, to all the bands, public, friends that showed up and last but not least, and those who had to put off their visit due to the global pandemic. Well... Complaints about 2020 are useless, it’s our job to change the present in hopes for a better future. What we mean is that we refuse to accept this “new normal”, we want our traditional “normal” back. We don’t agree with this new imposed set of rules that doesn’t allow us to have shows the way we believe they should happen. We are, without a doubt, a cultural and artistic association that promotes shows with original Metal bands and we will act as it. So, there will not happen any shows at Rrusstyk until we can host shows like we think it should be, and we will keep on fighting for the right to do it any way we can. However, our doors are still open and WE ARE BOOKING shows for 2021, under the condition that at the time of the show, if the rules fit our standards, otherwise the show will be postponed. It takes courage and understanding by everyone involved but we’re willing to take the risk and we are persevering. We urge you to take a stand and fight for unity in the Metal scene. We’re always the outcasts, we’re the ones that daily fight for the style of music we listen and follow passionately. Irreverence is our condition, we are “Breaking The Law”! We conclude wishing you happy holidays and great new year. May 2021 be different for the better, let us be the change. Thank you all for everything, together we stand.
