Bairrada wine region brings us the portuguese Espumante. It was here that the first production of sparkling wines in Portugal began. The official date of the Dão region has a DOC dates back to 1908, that makes it the second registered region of wines in Portugal. Often referred as the portuguese Burgundy, with wines of a more fresh, herbal and mineral style. Then most characteristic grapes are Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Jaen (Mencia) from the reds and Encruzado, Bical and Malvasia-Fina in the whites.

In our winebar you can come and try the 3 main grapes of the Vinho Verde region. Alvarinho, Loureiro and Vinhão.
The Vinho Verde region is known for the light acidic whites with a touch of fruit and minerality.
Although the whites are the most predominant, the reds also have space, with the grape Vinhão giving a juicy red with earthy and fruity notes.
